Spellbinders - Gate Fold Christmas card

Hello and welcome, Eva Bussom here, with a new card featuring Spellbinders Paper Arts Winter Borders and Christmas Blooms Die set. I stated by creating the cardbase using the Winter Borders Die set. I used the leafy die on each end of the cardstock. I used Forest cardstock, but you can you any color you'd like! I needed a way to close it, so I chose a belly band 8 1/2 long by 1 1/2  tall. My first picture shows the card closed with the Christmas Blooms in various Spellbinders colors, like Forest, Crimson and Poppy Field along with Gold Mirror!

On my second photo with the inside shown, along with the belly band. The sentiment is from the Classic Happy Holidays Dies. I hope you liked today's share! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Altenew - Happy Flowers

A quick Sunday card! Happy Flowers Layering  Stamp and die set.  I started by inking each layer of the blooms with Warm and Cozy Crisp Dye Inks. The stamped the leaf layers with Green Fields Crisp Dye Inks.  I heat embossed the sentiment onto a vellum strip and added glue points behind the letters so that it wont be seen. I also added some Essential Black and White Enamel Dots (only Black). Finished with some Twine and Wink of Stella - Black from my stash.  Have a wonderful week and see you on Facebook at 4 PM MST Monday - Wednesday- Fridays!

Pinkfresh Studio August 2022 Challenge

Hello and welcome back! In case you don't know who I am, my name is Eva Bussom and I am live on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's on Facebook. I look forward to seeing you there with me and my crafty friends at 4:00pm MST.

I started by pulling similar colors together to color in the images from the Pears and Pomegranates. I used my Altenew Artist markers G702, R101, B802 and Y612 along with a copic 0 Blending marker.  After coloring the images I fussy cut them and set them aside.

Next, I pulled prints to use for my Hexagon Shape using the Nested Hexagon Die Set. I used two of them together to get a dainty but gorgeous hex shape.

Finally I used the Foiled Sentiments (sold out) and Clear Drops Iridescent for the finishing touches.... then I had to give it a bit of splatter with the age old fave Wink of Stella black!  My cardbase is 110 # with a side fold.

Covid came home

We took the shots, we stayed home and wore masks when we had to go out and about. Yet, two years afterwards our seventeen year old son got the virus. Today is the third day of him not feeling well and everyone staying as far apart as one can in 1000 Sq feet of space.

I dislike the dismissed inaction of the locals who are on the wrong side of history playing with people's lives.

I can't tell you how hard it it watching him in pain, but not being able to do much but to send him texts and leave food at his door as I walk away before he can open the door. It's a sad day when this thing challenges parents like me across this nation.  I worry most that my husband will get it and die due to his heart conditions.

Nothing like posting about nothing. I'm inerly freaking out while on the outside acting normal.  I worry cause that's my job, but this thing, Covid 19 has taken too many lives and time has robbed us of normalcy.

We only have one test left... until Thursday when more will arrive. I hope that we are safe. But even now I know we aren't. This thing kills and it's not picky when it does.

Spellbinders- Christmas in July part 2

I know that many of my friends and followers know that we've had some health scares here at home and that this blog post is well overdue. But I feel like I owe you all an explanation. Bill got sick and was taken to the local hospital for what we thought might have been a stroke, since he is a heart patient. Well he spent a week in hospital and has been following up with the doctors to get him back up to par. Now as for me I'm been dealing with the hubby, having to get the kids ready to go back to school and all while dealing with my own heal concerns. So thanks for your patience and I hope to see you in a live, on my blog or on IG!

Glimmer Greetings has an incredible hot foil plates collection, today I;m sharing the floral ornament and bow set called Blooming Ornament Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. For the background I used the gorgeous Geo Screen embossing folder.  My sentiment is from the Happy Occasion Words die set. To complete my card I used Phone Booth cardstock and Aura AB Crystals. I used alcohol markers to color my Blooming Ornament Glimmer Hot Foil Plate! The dark cardbase with the gold foil really jumps out in the best way! I tried to keep the design clean and I think I accomplished that.

For my second card today, It was my very first try at the floss and a Stitched die. I used the Stitched Petal Diamond Background  Etched die. Along with some plum floss, I used the same Happy Occasion Words die set for the sentiment on this card!  I love how it turned out!  I created a flower in the center of the card and a diamond outline. I kept the design simple and clean.

Spellbinders Christmas in July - Celebrate the Season

Celebrate the Season Release has so many incredible products your gonna love it! Visit SpellbindersPaperArts.com to see these products and so much more.

Today I've got three clean and simple cards and I know that you will love these products!

For my first card, using the fun and fabulous More Holiday Decorations Etched Dies. I started with various cardstock and Spellbinders Mirror Gold Foil cardstock and created the individual pieces with layers and laid them out in a clean but retro design, with a raised layer of white cardstock and Color Essentials Gem Spectrum AB as a finishing touch. The greeting is from the Yana's Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set.

Note: cardbase is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 with top layer at 3 3/4 by 5 inches in white cardstock from my stash.

For my next two cards, they used the  Stylish Merry Christmas Etched Dies and the More Holiday Decorations Etched Dies again from the Celebrate the Season collection.  I used cardstock from my stash and with a dark green tone I die cut the Stylish Merry Christmas Etched dies using the outline die at the same time as the sentiment die.  The background layer is from the Stitched Petal Diamond Background Etched Dies which is part of the Stitchmas Christmas Collection. I kept the look again clean and simple with the final touches of the Color Essentials Gem Spectrum AB
A2 Cardbase

For my final card today, I have a super simple design with the More Holiday Decorations Etched Dies in Gold cardstock and the Stylish Merry Christmas  Etched Dies in the same dark green and a white cardbase. Along with the Color Essentials Gem Spectrum Aquamarine AB Crystals.

Starting with the Jumbo Garden Picks Die Set, I I used various cardstock from my stash and since the goal was to keep it clean and simple, I didn't use a sentiment. The Jumbo Garden Picks Layering Dies were easy to layer, and assemble together.  This would be a great beginner project.

I used several colors of Enamel Dots fill in the white space and I love how it adds to the overall design. I used the trimmed flowers to fill spaces underneath the larger blooms.

I hope you enjoyed my design. Up next is Rosie Neustaedter or you can go back and start from the beginning at Altenew Educators’ "Clean and Simple" Blog Hop and Linky Party + Giveaway

Spellbinders - Fabulous Friend

Hello and welcome back!  I'm Eva Bussom I do Facebook Lives, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. I look forward to seeing you there with me and my crafty friends at 4:00pm MST.

Today I'm sharing a cute simple card using Spellbinders products and some of my stash. Starting with the gorgeous Fabulous Friend stamp set, using copic markers I colored the leaves, blooms and then this fabulous character. I loved the sunglasses from the start and the layers of pink cardstock and white made a beautiful combination.

I used the Picot Petite Rectangles to break up the straight layers. The sentiments in the stamp set are unique and beautiful, I love how east it is to use and create with.  I've share links to the main products below.
