Hi cards

Ever have one of those days where when you get up you know it's going to be a good day? Me too! I loved today's bible lesson. It was from Acts 9. Very insightful, I love when a great lesson happens. The 5 Minute Bible for the Anxious Heart, has been an interesting read so far, looking forward to tomorrows lesson in Acts 16:16-40.
William my teenager is sick, the bug is kicking his butt good! It has been going around for months, we all had it and I'd don't want it back again. Good thing I got lots of soup last run at the store.

Let's see what I've got to share today...

I made 4 cards... yup also is known as a variety pack! I was video crafting with my friend Jeanne and just kept coming up with ideas for the products I was working with. It was awesome since I'd been suffering from artist block most of December.  It felt wonderful to be creative and inspired. Anyway, let's see what I made!
The top photo has all four cards in one shot. I love these colors together. Combo of Obsidian Black and the Sea Shore Mini Cube set of inks I had the perfect match for some fun guy cards, that would be great for most everyone.  I had white and black cardstock as well, lots of inking along the way.

Above is all of the things I used to create these fabulous cards.
Stamps: Block Print and Sentiment Strips
Ink: Obsidian Black and Sea Shore Mini Cubes
Dies: Caps: Bold Alphabet Die
Other Items: Enamel Dots: Green FieldsGlue TapeJet Black and White 80lb Cardstock
All of these items are available at Altenew.com

This was my first card, I did an ombre effect in the background on the Block Print stamped image.  Adding a bit of fun, with my die cuts that I inked up, you can see the negative on the next card below. Adding a simple birthday sentiment and a single enamel dot from the Green Fields set, which includes Black dots.

I inked up a bit of cardstock to create the first card leaving me with a perfect spotlight to make another, simple encouragement card!  Of course, I had to add some black cardstock in the back for my card base and a few enamel dots too!

I love using the mini inks as squares, so I had to do that for this simple birthday card.  The single heart dot added a little love to the card. I love the super clean look of this card, it has lots of color, in a CAS kind of way.

My final card was so much fun to make, I love the leaves in the stamp, and knew I wanted to create this background. I used one of the negatives along with the "You've Got This" sentiment and a few dots. Love this!!!

Here's the bible verse from yesterday that I shared on facebook:
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26

Well, that's it for today, I want to say thank you. This journey isn't an easy or simple one. Some days will be more exciting than others, for today I'm grateful, to all things in God's world and in my life.

:)
