Monogram Contest Altenew

Hello and welcome to the blog. Today I've got my version of a Monogramed hand towel. 
The minute the contest was out the very first thing I thought of was a simple design. 
Dont forget to visit the contest yourself. The rules are simple, make something with Altenew products. 

Lets check out my card.

I started by stampin the Sweet Rose Bouquet in Sea Shore and Delectable Delights mini inks on white cardstock. Then I grabbed my Mega Alphabet die letter B. I set the B die onto the stamped image and die cut it.  Then went to work on other elements of the card.

Then I chose the Creative Edges: Lace Die in white cardstock, die cut it and removed all of the bits. Its such a beautiful die, and reminded me of fancy edging on towels. 

For the background I selected the Cross Stitch Canvas die. It gives so much texture, for this layer I went with Parchment, I thought it went perfect with the natural tones in the Delectable Delights. 

Here's a close up of my finished piece. I love the simple design, but its just more than what I thought it could be. Again, check out the contest for yourself and have some fun.
