Hello and welcome back to the blog! It's Monday, and I can't believe it is the last week of February already! I spent the weekend making cards, enjoying some of my favorite shows on Netflix and doing laundry!  Multi-tasking can be overwhelming at times, but you'll not have something to do! I can't believe I managed to get all of the work I needed to do completed.  I was crafty chatting with Jeanne, and she was coloring the most beautiful piece. Also, Altenew released the latest Paint A Flower, which I ordered around midnight, so I could make sure to get one! I've shared a link at the bottom of this post!  Anywho let's get to today's card!

Snapshot Stamp and Die Combo! I've gone ahead and shared links to this and more down below.
I used the die and made 4 blank copies of the outline. Then stamped up the images using Rock Collection Oval Inks and Obsidian Black.  I glued them together and place it onto a piece of Pastel Dreams paper pack. This pape pack has so many fabulous designs to choose from! It's a must-have!
I also added some Jet Black cardstock, to frame it and added it to my cardbase! Then I finished it with the Loved Sentiment.

You all know leaves are my favorite, I love nature photos as well. When we lived in Washington, we use to visit Mt Rainier all the time!  The trees were gorgeous! If you've been you know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't you need to go just once in your lifetime! Also here's another shot of the card I made!

Well, that's it for today! I hope you have a fabulous day! God Bless!

Hello and welcome back! I've got a cute card made with products from Altenew, a personal update and a bit of bible study information.  Today was pretty cool, the hubby and I went shopping for a housewarming gift for my middle daughter who will be getting their apartment soon.  We also got some snacks, and stuff for dinner.  I also had a chance to catch up with Jeanne, she also made a card.  I love how dedicated she is about being a better artist. She has been taking classes for drawing and shading.  Her work is stunning.  Bible study was really good yesterday. I've recently changed the days when I do bible study, only Monday - Fridays. This allows me really work on all the things I need to do on the weekends and appreciate the days I dive into Bible class.

Let's start with the card I made today! I've included a link at the bottom, so please take a look at it.
I've used the stamp set before, but never in Red Cosmos ink colors.  I love how beautiful it turned out. Not only are the flowers pretty but so is the sentiment which is from Classic Beauty.  I used Obsidian Black for the outline and sentiment and with Green Fields for the leaves.  I added some of the Red Cosmos Enamel Dots too! I love those things!

Here's a close up of some of the details on my card.  Warm n Cozy inks are perfect for the centers of most any flower!  Do you see the Obsidian Black on the leaves? Pretty cool, huh!

And another angle of the card.  I love the balance in this layout. Always a beautiful way to show off florals while leaving plenty of space for a sentiment.

That's about it for today. May God bless you
:)

February 17 2020

Hello and welcome back to the blog! Today we did some more destashing and well there is more room, in the master bedroom.  We still have a ton of boxes that never got unpacked, because we didn't have the room for anything else. But it's nice to know that they will soon have a new home at Goodwill!  We are all working to get the house ready when we find enough money to renovate each room in our home. I'm looking forward to having a quiet place to craft, do lives and record videos.  My bible study is very important to me, and I can't wait to have an area in my space to do them.

Today's card was one of those that took me on different ways of looking at what I've created. I started by die cutting the Frilly Frame die in half on Jet Black cardstock. Then I looked for a small flower and leaf that would fill it like a trellis.  Floral Elements stamp set and die were perfect for this.  You can just see a bit of the die behind the leaves and flowers.

Next was the background and bottom of the card. I used Citrus Burst Oval inkpad to add a bit of sunshine ming the images pop off the card. The bottom was made from a piece of Essential Black and White paper pack. Along with an additional piece of Jet Black cardstock.  Finally, I added the Best Sentiments "You are the Best" for a simple card.

Here's another angle of my card.  While I know this isn't the style I normally do, everyone needs to try something else, if you've ever going to find what you like or don't!  While I like the card, I thought afterward it could have been really special if I'd done the entire Frilly Frame die in flowers. Maybe another time I'll do one.

God bless and be kind in life.
