Altenew Educator Program

I recently applied to the Altenew Educator program, and was accepted! I am so happy!
I love the range of products they offer, below is one of my cards I made for my first requirement.

Build - A - Flower : Anemone
Class - All About Layering 1 & 2

I was completely inspired by the way they taught the classes on layering! It was incredible to learn so much! Excited for the next class....

I started by selecting my ink colors, from the Cherry Blossom, Green Fields and Summer Afternoon mini ink collections.  Starting with the leaves from the stamp set, Anemone, I stamped the layers in the areas I needed, by laying a die cut of the flower, and added small arrows to the points where the leaves would go. Next, I added each of the layers of ink, starting from Frayed Leaf , then Forest Glades on some and then adding the third layer on others with Evergreen ink, with a slight offset.  When it came to the flower, I used the inks, light to dark including Jet Black for the outline, using the matching die.  To finish it off I added the sentiment and some New Day Enamel Dots. For my card layers and base, I used Simon Says Stamp 120lbs white cardstock,  Dark Gray for the base and some Gold Foil for the other layer.
Overall I think it turned out beautifully, I did this free hand, without the use of a stamp tool.

Get all this and more at Altenew!

Until next time,

  2. This is so beautiful, Eva! Love how you showcase the images. The gold trim adds a touch of elegance to it, too! Well done! ps: please note that you will need to submit one card for each individual class. You can combine Layering 1 and 2 in one card, but you will need to submit two projects. Thanks!
