A little love

Its been a lot a fun getting to this point and
I'd thought I would share on my blog versus just posting it to IG.

Here is my final project for level 1 of the AECP.

It is a really simple design, that I loved when I finished it!
However, it wasn't the first card I made, it was my second.

Here's my first design

It has everything I wanted in a card, bling from the Gold Foil cardstock die cut with the Leafy Garland Die, lots of beautiful roses from the Vintage Roses stamp set, lots of bold colors from the Red Cosmos with some Jet Black for that deep shadow color, along with the Forest Glades in a single layer for the leaves. I added a touch of black spray in a splatter and added a few green enamel dots as a finishing touch.  The sentiment made me think of our upcoming 15th anniversary in May.  Alas, it was not my final pick!

When it came time to pick my submission, it was easy! The beautiful softness of the Flower Flurries washi tape, along with the Gold B from the Bold Caps Alphabet Die and theVintage Roses sentiment made me wish Altenew was around when we got married, I felt a kinship to it, and naturally, it was the one. Fussy cutting, layering and enjoying the crafty life I live!

I went with simple designs, it's my style of cardmaking, and having the best products didn't hurt!
I'm so glad that I started on this adventure, and I am looking forward to taking even more classes from Altenew.

I want to thank everyone who supported me during this time, as many of you know I've been in the process of packing up my house to move, and it's been hard knowing that I would have to limit my creativity in order to pack the crafty space... I have one more live to do and then I won't be back until after the rest of the house has sold! I will miss everyone... but I promise I will be back as soon as I can with crafty goodness in hand, and enabling ready!

Until next time
your friend and fellow crafter
