Wow, can you believe that Altenew is offering so many different classes?
Today's post is featuring the All About Layering 3 class and part of my level 3 requirements for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. I was blown away at how much I gleaned from the lessons. As in life, we as crafters never stop learning. Onto my card!

I wanted to create a simple design with a bold focus and with suttle surrounding images.
I did that by using the Build a Flower: Carnation stamp and die sets.
I began by die cutting the Leaf Frame Cover Die and the Cross Stitch Canvas Dies and setting them aside. Then I began to ink up my images, First in Red Cosmos for the Carnation itself and Green Fields for the leaves accompanying images.
With the Cross Stitch Canvas die, I added a touch of color by adding some Moutain Mist (mini cube) ink onto it with a makeup brush. Then jumped into placing my layers in place. Along with a sentiment to pull everything together for my finished card.
I almost forgot that I added some enamel dots in Green Fields and Red Cosmos.
Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!
