Two paintings and a card challenge. Now I've been sick for the past few days, just about to give up when God steps in and says not today Eva! Okay, well when God tells you to get up, you do it! Today's Bible lesson was all about not losing your faith, even when you want to give in to whatever is holding you back, don't look down! Give your faith, strength, and courage to God, he always knows just when you'll need it. So here I am I did two paintings and a card... I didn't know what to create until I started searching for challenges that would drive me, along with the spirit.
The Card!
The Small Moment's snowflake stamp set is the perfect example of starting off small but ending up with something wonderful. The Hello Winter stamp set fits right into the theme at Fusion Card Challenge - Elements Winter. I started by grabbing Altenew's oval inks Aqualicious and Obsidian Black, for a bold statement with a gentle background of snowflakes in blue.
Up next are the paint pours.
The first is done with Apple Barrel Gray, Black, White and Ocean Breeze from Darice. With a touch of Metalic Silver from FolkArt. This is the result of an open cup pour. My canvas is 8x10 today.
This is from a dutch pour, with lots of colors, Apple Barrel Blue, Pink, Yellow, Gold, and White.
The wet look is great, but checking for cracks and other imperfections is hard. Unlike my last dutch pour, it is looking great. this is an 8x10 canvas.
Well thats it for today. May the Lord bless you. Hoping to be 110% soon, but for now God Bless!
:)
