Hello and welcome back to the blog! What a day, I have been spending a lot of time going through my crafty stash. I gave away a bunch of old cardstock the other day. The rest will be sent to a friend.  I will be boxing up some old stamps and dies to add to my list of things to take to the goodwill.  In other news, my daughter, her husband and the grans are going to be moving into their own place soon.  I love the quality of the cardstock I currently use, Neenah Classic Crest 80lb and Solar White 110 and all of my other cardstock are from Altenew! I also went out and did a bit of weeding in the yard. You would think that nothing grows in the desert, but I've got tons of weeds to prove otherwise! lol...
Let check out the card I made!

Let me start by saying that I used Altenew products. I love their stamps.  I started my card with the Leaf Canopy stamp set on a circle made with the Half Tone Circle Nesting Dies. I used several inks to get this look. Sweet Leaf, Bamboo, and Lagoon Inks made for a beautiful blend of colors.

Behind the circle is one of my favorite paper packs - the Reflection paper pack is so amazing!  The sketched stripe goes nicely with my leaves and sentiment. I also added a few enamel dots in dark gray tones from the Rock Collection set.

Finally, I put it all together for a clean and simple card. I am lovin' all that white space!  Seek things above and not below! It's the best advice one can give in most situations!
