Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop + Giveaway


Welcome to the Altenew Celebrating Parents 2021 Blog Hop and Giveaway, you should have come from Dana Joy blog, but if not you can go to Altenew's blog.  

We have chosen a few Altenew products that are great for your Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards (and other year-round projects)!

Altenew will donate $1 with every order of the above stamp sets from 3/6/2021 until 5/31/2021 to the Food Bank of Central New York to support seniors in need.




For the Mom card, I used my Fine Alphabet Die in Jet Black cardstock and for the Dad's card I used the Gradient Stripes Stamp set plus so much more. 



I combined several stamps and dies to create the Mother's Day card. 
Staring with the Precious Moments Stamp set, for my sentiment then the Life Is Awesome  stamp set.


I used a bunch of mini ink cubes: Cherry Blossom, Golden Sunset, Enchanted Garden, Green Valley and Obsidian Black ink for the sentiment and leaves. 


I love the pops of color and the Shades of Purple enamel dots all on 80lb White cardstock.



I kept the dad card simple with a few layers as an added surprise I used the Halftone Nesting Circles die for my sentiment from the Best Dad stamp set.  



For the Gradient Stripes I used the Cool Summer Nights Oval inks, after stamping the image, I cut it in half and placed it leaving enough room for the Sentiment and other images. 


The shaving images are colored with Mediterranean Terrace Garden Artist Markers set B!

    Oh my gosh is that ever cute. It must be getting Late because at first I thought the shaving items were succulents and a desk light tee hee. Terrific masculine card! And beautiful mom card. The florals are lovely!
