Altenew Educators "Anything But A Card" Blog Hop and Linky Party + Giveaway

Hello and welcome back! The Educators have a fabulous Hop for you today! Hopefully you arrived from Fiona Duff but if you didn't you can start back at Altenew Card Blog or start from my blog! Our task was to create inspiration that wasn't a card, so I chose a wreath!

I started by choosing the color palette I wanted to work with for my idea!
I knew I would need greenery, which was done in Forest Glades. For the blooms, I chose Rouge, Blush, Spicy Yogurt and Apple Red cardstock colors.  For the inks I used: Obsidian Black and Warm Sunshine mini ink pad.

First I started on the construction of 12 flowers with the Craft A Flower: Cistus die set. The Craft A Flower is the newest addition to the monthly subscriptions  The leaves are from Just Leaves Die set, and I used about 4 full sheets of Forest Glades to give my wreath a look of fullness.

My sentiment is from the You are Loved die set. I did it in Blush and love how it turned out. The floating look is from adding a quarter sheet (5 1/2 by 4 1/4 in inches)of window sheet under the wreath, and then adding the sentiment.

Here's a close up of the blooms. I popped up every other one, for an even fuller look. I love putting them together. I did this in two days! First the die cutting and then the next day I put them together.

The Mini Delight: Bee Kind stamp and die set are the perfect little addition to any project. Along with the Artist Markers set A, in which I used the lightest blue for the wings.

But I couldn't have done this project without my bestie and the hubby who gave great ideas and plenty of support!

Next up is Nenette S. Madero  (the list is below)

Notes:

I used chip board to create the outline and for the body of the wreath and acetate sheets. I used them to float the bees and the sentiment.
