Color Your Day AECP

Hello and thanks for dropping by!
Today I'm back with another assignment for my Altenew Educator Certification Program.
I am all about Color Your Day class...

For the Color Your Day Class, Instead of a triangle I went with a square.

Here's what I used.
I didn't have many of the products for the class, so I improvised!
For my background, I used the Simple Shapes XL set and for my floral, I grabbed the Larkspur.
Inks were a whole other thing, let's start with the Larkspur: the rock collection was a great look once I got the layers together and the leaves are done in Seashore minis. The background is in colors from Pocket of Sunshine, Sunkissed, Pink Pearl and of course I used Perminate Black for the outlines and sentiment.  The card base is 80lb Neenah solar white and sequins from my stash from Simon Says Stamp.

See ya next time,
Eva

skype and a card

Good morning, today I'm all about skype, friends, and making cards in my crafty space (which is a desk) lol.. anyway... so as you can see I have Justin on my blog today!  lol.. No, we were skyping while we were working on projects (cards) again, so I thought I'd share one of the pics I snapped while we were chatting...

Anyway on to todays card!
I'm so on my Simon Says Stamp kick...
I got a new order yesterday, and totally loved all my shine items!
I started by using the Tim Holtz Stencil Flourish, with Ranger Texture Paste Transparent Gloss
and then I went back and added some color, using a sponge dauber to add the Island Indigo reInker.

I added a layer of vellum, and heat embossed the Happily Ever After with Ranger Liquid Platinum emboss powder. Finally I added some Stampin' Up! White Satin ribbon on a Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock as my base. I hope you enjoyed my card
I love it, and think it would be perfect for any wedding or anniversary!

Thanks for stoppin by
Eva
