SSINK Masculine Monday

Okay so I'm back at SSINK and the design team has man cards today!!!

I went simple... and it turned out awesomer than I could have hoped

I busted out the Snuggles and Smooches for the rockin' doodles on whisper white cardstock and inked them in So Saffron, then for the sentiment I went with Lovely Amazing You... in Memento Black.
Added a basic black card base and some black bakers twine to complete it!

Hope you will check out the rest of the design team cards!

SSINK - Single Layer Cards

Welcome back and today the SSINK design team has some amazing single layer cards!!!
I kept mine simple.. and sweet!

I've got the cutest, simple card ever!!! All neat and tidy on one layer... this would be a perfect project for kids!!!  Whisper White note cards with the Happy Easter Bunny in Memento Black and a couple of stampin' write marks... on my card, I've used pistachio pudding and pink pirouette!
I would suggest stampin' in the Easter Bunny with Memento ink and attach a few crayons for children as a small gift card!

Thanks for joining SSINK today

SSINK - A Sketch Challenge

today I've got my design team card for SSINK and I love the sketch!

It was crazy easy and with scraps no less!
Today I'm using Stampin' Up! note cards for my card base!

I've got Pool Party, Baked Brownsugar, and Crushed Curry cardstock, along with Sweet Dreams DSP.  I used the Star Confetti punch and the Best Day Ever stamp set in Island Indigo ink .  I added some crystal effects to complete my card... and it is adorbs!

SSINK - My Paper Pumpkin Feb 2015

Today we were asked to make something with out Feb My Paper Pumpkin

But before I get into how mine looks, I wanted to share with you how the kit was intended to look and no one does a MPP kit like fellow crafter Dawn!

Isn't this the best
Check out the rest of Dawn's blog and how she did the MPP- Layers of Gratitude for Feb!

Dawn, thanks for letting me share your awesome blog too!!

Now on to my version of this months awesome My Paper Pumpkin!

I started by cutting off the sides of the boxes that came in the mpp kit for feb.
I followed the score lines and cut all sides off.
I then attached sticky strip and put them back on at the cut edge to score line

Then I cut the 8 panel card apart into 4 smaller cards

I used the stamps that were included in the kit (calypso coral ink) and added sequins, button and some of the twine.

I turned it into a gift card holder!
Here's how the box looked after my quick changes!
I added a scrap of whisper white paper (2 x 2 1/2 inches) stamped using another stamp in the kit (stamped off calypso coral) and added a button and some more twine to finish it off!
