My Painting, bookmarks and a few odds n ends

Ah Tuesday, I've got some painting to share and a bit of paper art too.  It was so much fun this morning. We had the first bible study from the new book. It was very cool, I am liking the vibe that the 5 Minute Bible study for the Anxious Heart had today, it was refreshing.  You can pick yourself up a copy and check it out, I promise you won't be let down.  If you care to join me for bible study you can find me each morning at 8am MT on facebook.com at   https://www.facebook.com/evabussom

Let's start with the paint pouring.  Okay.... this is that bit of honesty that will kill ya... this image that looks so fabulous... was, but now its cracked, yucky! I knew that the paint was too thick! It just didn't look right falling off of the popsicle stick. So I will love it as a lesson in life, but I would have been a great piece for my wall. Living vs office, or bedroom placing kinda thing. Ah well.  I will be painting again and soon, maybe I'll even have the guts to share just how bad it turned out...

After yesterday's bible lesson I decided to create some cute bookmarks for my bible and they turned out so cute!  I used the following supplies: Copics, Needlepoint Floss (cause I like the variety in a pack) and some faith-based stamps I had for a while.  Heres my link to that live.

 Floss

Tim Holtz Scissors in red and black

Copic Sketch Markers (Alcohol)

The stamps I used are from Divinity Designs, formerly Our Daily Bread.
Well, that's about it for today. I hope you will join me tomorrow for some more fun.
:)
