Altenew November 2021 Sparkle and Shine Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hello and welcome back! Today its all about the  Sparkle and Shine Collection Blog Hop

Hopefully your coming to visit me from blog Colleen Balija and if not you can start here or visit Altenew!

For my first card, I used In The Woodland Stamp and die set and Note For You die set.  I started by stamping one of the two larger outline sets. I used the Artist Markers Cosmic Garden to color the largest of the blooms and the leaves.  The coordinating dies made is so easy to die cut them.

I used a A2 cardbase which is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 folded.  I used 80lb white cardstock, with a side fold. I cut one of the sentiment dies from the Note For You Die set, Sorry in Jet Black cardstock. The largest die in the set is a mini envelope, which I die cut, folded and tape and placed behind the floral.  For finishing touch I added the Essential Black and White enamel dots using one of each size on the card and it was complete.

My tiny gift tote

I started by cutting two Note For You die pieces. The bottom part wasn't part of the die set, but was easy to measure.  I cut two pieces of Jet Black cardstock  3 1/2 by 2 7/8 and set all of the pieces aside. I wanted to add the stamp from In The Woodland to each side of the die. So I started by using my Altenew Embossing Ink Clear, and used the clear Embossing powder on each of the two pieces, so the images would be on the entire tote.

I will add tape to each side and on the bottom edge and for the inside/outside of the tote I used one of the two small pieces of Jet Black for the inside and then the outside.  Once you've taped both ends and added a piece inside and on the bottom to finish it, you should have a tiny tote bag perfect for any occasion. I started to stamp the sentiment from the Note for You stamp set. For the Heart I cut two in Glided Glitter cardstock and added foam squares to complete it.

Love how beautiful the clear Embossing powder looks finished. Both on the front and back.

For my final card today, I made a mini slim line card. I loved how much the clear embossing powder looked that I made this one in Antique Gold.  Again using the In the Woodland Outline stamp and die set bundle, I stamped on Jet Black cardstock, twice.

I also wanted to use a sentiment from the set, so I chose the "sending birthday Hugs", also in Antique Gold embossing powder.  I stamp it on a piece of Altenew vellum.  So I placed my blooms at the top and bottom of my 3 1/2 by 6 inch cardbase and added the layer of vellum on top.

To complete the card, I use a few Essential Black and White enamel dots in the corners of the vellum to hid my adhesive. I added it to a cardbase of 80lb white cardstock and this card is done!
