PPA245 a Sketch Challenge

So finally starting to feel better, and nothing is better than making a card....
so when I saw PPA sketch this week... I was thinking.. I so need to do this, and get me back to normal!!! Nicole Watt designed the sketch, which is awesome, and interesting!

While I adjusted the sketch to fit my idea, I think it turned out fabulously!!!
I started by stamping on Whisper White with Crumb Cake in the En Francais and the Positively Chevron in Lost Lagoon, stamped off to lighten the color...  I have a back layer of Crumb Cake cardstock, and Wishing die in LL as well. I chose the Sweet Dreams buttons, and some hemp twine as my embellishments to complete my card!

I hope you like it.. I used mostly Stampin' Up! and
added the Wishing die from Simon Says Stamp.

Paper Players 237 LeAnne's Sketch Challenge

Hope your weekend was great! I know mine was! While I was making the card, I was doing Skype with Justin, and then on Hangouts with Tammy... and keeping an eye on Facebook... ahh multitasking!

So LeAnne has got an awesome sketch for us over at the Paper Players this week!

I went through my stamps and (finally) decided on Circle Friends from Simon Says Stamp, along with my Circle Collection framelits from Stampin' Up!  I used my Chocolate Chip ink on the stamps and So Saffron for the circle background stamps.  I used Chocolate Chip behind the top layer, Whisper White for my card base, Daffodil Delight and Hello Honey for my little banners.
I added the embellishments last, and used some Whisper White Bakers Twine.. A button from the Regals collection and some sequins from Doodlebug!

Thats it, I hope you like my card today... its so cute!!

PP236 Clean and Simple Floral Challenge

So good morning all... today I'm at the Paper Players and their Clean and Simple challenge.

Its Florals!!!

I love clean and simple cards... they may look easy... but its all in the planning of these kind of cards. I've got a few friends who are marvelous at Clean cards, Audrey, Shannon, and yes Justin too!

Here's what I've come up with...

I kinda worked backwards on this a bit... and had to think (plan) a bit more than I usually do, lol.
But I got there in the end.
My design is clean and simple.. I stamped the Regarding Dahlias in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White cardstock. Then I ran it through the big shot with the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says
I laid out my cardstock... and picked up the middle to add adhesive. Then I picked up the outta frame area (ww) and added dimensionals to it to pop it up! Then came the ribbon....Whisper White Satin Ribbon. I finished the rest of the layers and threw in a few sequins

here's a close up! :)

I hope you love it... I do and so does Butter!

PP235 - Color Challenge

The Paper Players has a great color combo this week by Anne Marie... and I figured what the heck, lets give it a go!

So I spent most the evening chatting with Justin on skype....  and working on projects together. Its wonderful to sharing crafty ideas and great stuff done!

I am sneaking in this card this evening, because I already have another ready to go tomorrow! lol!

I've got a crumb cake cardbase (cardstock) with Whisper White (cs) for both my balloons (in Wild Wasabi, Crisp Cantaloupe and So Saffron inks) I use the Balloon Framelits to cut them with my bigshot and sentiment layers. The Balloons are from Celebrate Today from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from For Being You (in Crumb Cake ink). I've finished off my card with Linen Thread, a dash of clear Wink of Stella and a single staple!

Hope you love my card!
