Cherished Memories from Altenew

Some of the things I will always cherish is my love for God, my mother and of course crafty goodness!  I love to create with Altenew products! Today is no exception! I've got the Cherished Memories stamp set, along with the 36 color watercolor pan set (sold out)!

I've been trying different techniques I've learned from incredible artist and cardmakers alike.

Cherished Memories

I used oranges, reds, and greens to create my card today, in a really simple layout, but it's so classic!
I've been learning how to create a more interesting splatter by watching how others create theirs in videos on YouTube. I'm improving, but there is always from for growth.
There is also a black cardstock layer and a white cardbase.  My my bling, I added a touch of Midas Gold Nuvo Pen and jelly gems from Queen & Co.

Glad you stopped by, until next time

CYCI#137

We survived the first week of Homeschool (which is actually online school) and I am excited to see how next week is going to go! Butter is in Middle school now and has seven different instructors, one for each subject plus homeroom! The grands are all back to school as well!

Let's get this party started!

Amber selected the CYCI colors this week and I was so excited to give them a try!
I busted out my FSJ products: I used River Stone for the Gray,  Sweet Berry for Flamingo and Ken Oliver Chartreuse! I used two different stamp sets to get what I was looking for, with Damask Print as my main image and a sentiment from Creature Comforts.
I created a couple of small banners for layering, and tada, I have a smashing design!

I hope you have a wonderful week

Until next time

Ellie Loves Lattes YNS

Today's card is all about Coffee...

I started by coloring my Ellie loves latte's with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.
Next, I stamped 6 cups, and colored them as well.. then I added some clear SN Sparkle Glitter Brush pens (totally sparkly) in clear!
I was picking out what I wanted the card to look like, and I'd had a set of Spellbinders dies -Labels One, forever and never used them... until now! I love the compact look of the card.  I've also been trying to include pattern paper when I design my cards, I have tons of it... why not!
So the paper I used is from Doodlebug - Hello Sunshine, plus some white thick cord! The blue wood is washi from Queen & Co. I love them so much, I also have it in pink and green!

I hope you've enjoyed my card of the day!

Until next time

Can You Case It? Has a sketch by Elizabeth Thatcher and
Pam Tetreault  as our guest Designer!

Use the February kit from Unity for my card today!
and a single stamp from them as well... (big girls...)
I added in some Heidi Swapp Color Shine Gold, on the hair!
Here's a close up shot of how it turned out!

Got kraft cardstock for my base from MFT and colored in some white cardstock to make it match the butterflies on my main image!  Washi and dots are from Queen & Co.

Keeping it short, final is this week... EEK!

Happy Hippo Birthday Card

Hello... had a bit of time tonight to make a card, so I went with the super cute Hippo Birdie stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas. I used tons of girl colors in pinks, yellows cardstock,  a balloon print found in Sugar Shoppe, and Chunky Twine from Doodlebug!
I added some sequins also from CDD called Pastel Paradise and some pink wood washi from Queen and Co.  I'm using a 120# white cardstock from Simon Says Stamp for my card base!

Until next time

FSJ - Rain Tweet

After my term paper was complete last night, I took a bit of time and had some fun!
I just love the way my card turned out!
Used my new stamp set, Rain Tweet from Fun Stampers Journey which I did with ZIG watercolors.
I used Queen and Co. Green-Wood washi tape, along the edges.
I used my favorite Fancy Frames die from Craftin Desert Diva's
Last item was the super cute Hugs die from Simon Says Stamp.

Enjoy your day

CYCI#110 A sketch challenge by Elizabeth

Totally went Echo Park for this challenge!

I love how easy it is to use one of their kits to create a quick and easy card! This one is called Lucky Charm and I picked it up from Simon Says Stamp for only 6.99 (plus shipping).
Which was a steal, considering I can make a bunch of cute cards or a cool scrapbook layout!
The round scallop die is Stitched in Circles dies from Craftin Desert Divas!
The only other thing that I added was a card base and a few gold pearls from Queen & Co.

Don't forget to play along at CanYouCaseIt? this week!!!!

Until next time
