Coffee and YNS

Had another chance to do a little crafting over the past few days... It feels awesome!

Today's card is using Your Next Stamp
Here is YNS Coffee Right Meow!

I made the kitty a bit scruffy, due to the lack of coffee feeling!
I used my Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolors!
I used Ken Oliver's Water-Media paper which I love, not joking totally love it!
I also used some Echo Park pattern paper called Anything Goes :) .
For the finishing touch, I added  a bit of Hemptique twine.

PCC188 Sketch Challenge the Tattered Bear

So the minute I saw the sketch for this week at Paper Craft Crew, I knew what I wanted to do.
I got Beary Sweet - Technique Tuesday stamp set last week and had to use it!

I decided to take the stamp into a different direction, a tattered bear :)
I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolors for this project.
While my flower is bright and beautiful... the bear is given an old well-loved look.
This teddy reminds me one the ones we had as children!

Other wonderful items on my card
Craftin Desert Divas - Fancy Frames
Queen & Co  - Brown Wood Washi
Echo Park - Spring 6x6 paper pad
MFT Stamps - Chocolate Brown cardstock

Hope you liked today's card :)

Until next time...

The super cute pup and sentiment come from the Phoebe with Wagon stamp set!
I used some Echo Park spring paper in a plaid pattern and some Doodlebug Bright sprinkles in a matte finish.  I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens for coloring in my card today.
I used a bit of brown on the dog, blues in the sky and puddle with a bit of grass and flowers!
My dies are from Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Rectangles and Craftin Desert Divas -Fancy Frames

I hope you've enjoyed my card :)

Update
woohoo... My card was featured at Your Next Stamp blog!

CYCI#110 A sketch challenge by Elizabeth

Totally went Echo Park for this challenge!

I love how easy it is to use one of their kits to create a quick and easy card! This one is called Lucky Charm and I picked it up from Simon Says Stamp for only 6.99 (plus shipping).
Which was a steal, considering I can make a bunch of cute cards or a cool scrapbook layout!
The round scallop die is Stitched in Circles dies from Craftin Desert Divas!
The only other thing that I added was a card base and a few gold pearls from Queen & Co.

Don't forget to play along at CanYouCaseIt? this week!!!!

Until next time

Paper Craft Crew #182

This class has been extremely hard this term, and I've been working my tushie off, just trying to keep up with the assignments. Psychology is making me crazy! lol... As with anything that is difficult, I'll just keep working at it, until I understand it... or die, and since I'm not dead... I guess I will survive!
Andrea and I chatted on Monday, and she mentioned that I hadn't been on Facebook for over 13 hours... lol...  I was stuck in la la land... working on my class stuff and other things on the side! I couldn't believe I hadn't been on for that long! Wow... that's a lifetime in FB time!

On to today's challenge

Paper Craft Crew has a sweet challenge for us this week!  I was chatting with Justin (fellow PCC DT member) while I was making this and we had a blast!!!  I love to crafty chat when I get the chance!
My card today features some fun new stuff (to me)
and some incredible staples you should have in your crafty stash!

I started today's card with the sketch in hand, and lots of ideas!
The first thing I thought of was the cute Sunny Skies Die and kraft cardstock base from MFTStamps and did it in a beautiful blue called Dolphin from Doodlebug!  Next I grabbed a piece of glitter paper and the thank you tag from Jen Hadfield.  I had leftover enamel dots from Echo Parks "Hello Winter" collection.
I used my favorite die - Fancy Frames from Craftin Desert Divas for my background layer and splattered a bit of Heidi Swapp Gold color shine on it!  You can see a tiny star poking out in blue (it's been sitting on my desk for a long time... not sure what cardstock it's from tehe!
For the last thing I used was something new to me... a bit of American Crafts Happy Place rub on pen!  I love the lines and color!  Last is my thread, which is coated, and I love to curl the ends!

Well that's it for today, until next time

CYCI#98 Tag You're It Sketch Challenge

Okay... I've got to admit... taking college courses with everything I've got going on is different! In a good way! This coming week is going to be even harder than the last week, but I am looking forward to it! Getting a good grade in the class is my goal, and moving forward and starting a career is the end game!  Thanks for all of the support from friends, family and followers!

Hey its Sunday at that means it's time for a new challenge at CanYouCaseIt? dot com!
I did this sketch a while ago, and loved the idea of a tag on a card this time of year!

This is a super simple card to do, I started by selecting my sentiment from the November Monthly Kit from Unity Stamp Co. I love the way it pops in Stazon Black, and snowflakes from ...like a Snowflake (USC) in the background in a light blue to go with my Echo Park paper pad Hello Winter, along with matching enamel dots!

A few of the other things on here is polka dot washi, black and white thread, and some mittens from an old punch I have made again using more patterns from the Hello Winter paper pad.

I did add a piece of fun foam under my tag to help support it! The cardbase is the 120lbs white from Simon Says Stamp.

Until next time,
Eva

PCCCS170

Well... looky here, I'm over at  Paper Craft Crew along with the
rest of the design team, and have we got a sketch for you!

My card today, has to main area's the layered and sentiment areas.

When I started putting my card together, I put some post its in a rectangular shape, to build my background. I used my reInkers from Stampin' Up! in Soft Sky and a sponge dauber. After I let it dry a bit, I used some Stazon white ink reInker to do as my splatter, which I repeated on my cardbase too! Up next was selecting my sentiment... Which I love the new Special Delivery from Taylored Expressions, and did that in Black Stazon. Up next was the layered area, two banners in Blue and Gray, and a Sparkly ornament  with some Twine and a Penguin die from  Echo Park. The finishing touch was added some enamel dots.

Note: for the penguin die, instead of using three different pieces of colored cardstock, I used white and colored it in with my Spectrum Noir markers.

Until next time,
Eva

Monday Mashup

Today's mashup is Echo Park and Craftin Desert Divas

I started by using Craftin Desert Divas dies Stitches Circle Dies along with Echo Park paper Pad Hello Winter and enamel dots and the Snow Cold Stamp set!

Then I stamped "Baby its cold outside" in Night of Navy ink from Stampin' Up!
On white 120lbs cardstock from Simon Says and using fun foam inbetween the layers!

Adding a simple bit of twine and enamel dots to finish off the circle.

Until next time,
Eva

PCCCS169 A Sketch Challenge

I've got a lot of wonderful products on my card for Paper Craft Crew Design Team

I started with the cardstock and paper pad. I chose Simon Says Stamp 120lb white for my base, and their soft navy for the upper portion and Echo Park Hello Winter for the bottom.
I used my Unity Stamp from ... like a snowflake set for the sentiment Let it Snow!
I also took out my Scan n Cut by Brother for the snowflakes in the 120lb white cardstock as well.
The Holly leaves are from Memory Box, in silver cardstock, with candy dots from Stampin' Up!
Last was white twine and a simple triple bow!

Until next time,

CYCI#84 A Sketch by Elizabeth

Sunday and that means its time for CYCI... and some creative fun!
This week Elizabeth given us a great sketch, and the design team has outdone themselves!
CYCI is growing again, and thanks to the response to our open call, we've got new design team members you'll be meeting! So don't forget to head over to CanYouCaseIt.com

My design today is pretty simple, I busted into my new cardstock from Doodlebug, Rainbow assortment 8 1/2 by 11 textured. I used a brown called Chocolate Chip! It contains 48 different colors for anything you could want to make!  Doodlebug offer other color combo as well!
The paper stack today is from Echo Park, Bundle of Joy with soft pinks in various patterns, loves it bad!!!  Next I went through my Stampin' Up! stash and grabbed my retired Baby We've Grown stamp set and some twine that was part of a tag and bag kit.  I also used my Early Espresso ink for the sentiment.  I used my Baby's First dies from Sizzix. Last thing I added was two mini clothespins and some Doodlebug sequins, and Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins too!

I also want to take a moment and thank Billie Moan for all the love and amazing creations she's shared with us over the past year... I'm gonna miss her and her team designs!
'til next time...
Eva
