Monster Frame Shaker

Good morning... I"m back with a monster, a shaker and a whole lot of fun!

I started by cutting the frame from the Snapshot Frames die set in Black Licorice!
Then I moved on to the Bat, and Boo! My Bat was Whip Cream cardstock, which I colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, in PL5 which is a dark/deep purple and Boo in Tangerine Fusion cardstock. I covered the bat with a Spectrum Sparkle clear glitter pen!

Next, I started coloring my Candy Monster with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, in various colors of orange, gray and fluorescent yellow (PL3) and orange (PL2).  To finish it off, I colored the background in PL5 and True Black. I added some sequins "special celebration which is a silver sequin in several sizes and Lemon Grass Confetti Sparkle Elements.
I added a piece of bright green fun foam to build up the space for the shaker bits!

Here's a pic with some of the products from Fun Stampers Journey!

SIP Store NY and LF

Just a really quick post before bed tonight!
I wanted to share on of the many cards I've made recently.. just haven't found the time to blog

Today's card is featuring a few Lawn Fawn stamps and dies, that I ordered from Justin's store  Stamp, Ink, Paper which just happens to be located across the country in New York state (I'm near Portland Oregon).

I used cardstock from MFT Stamps, and used Simon Says Stamp Rectangle Stitched dies for my top layer and SSS #120 thick white for my base!

I used the Stinkin' Cute stamp set and matching die and Sun & Moon dies, Simple Puffy Clouds and the matching Frames set as well.

I used both my Journey Platinum and Crafters Companion - Diamon Press for cutting my pieces for this card!
I used a bunch of Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, their new Sparkle pen in clear as well and a Signo White gel pen! The sequins used with from SIP (clear) and SSS (multi-colored).

Until next time,
Eva

Ellie Loves Lattes YNS

Today's card is all about Coffee...

I started by coloring my Ellie loves latte's with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.
Next, I stamped 6 cups, and colored them as well.. then I added some clear SN Sparkle Glitter Brush pens (totally sparkly) in clear!
I was picking out what I wanted the card to look like, and I'd had a set of Spellbinders dies -Labels One, forever and never used them... until now! I love the compact look of the card.  I've also been trying to include pattern paper when I design my cards, I have tons of it... why not!
So the paper I used is from Doodlebug - Hello Sunshine, plus some white thick cord! The blue wood is washi from Queen & Co. I love them so much, I also have it in pink and green!

I hope you've enjoyed my card of the day!

Until next time

CDD Shaped Cards

Hey everyone, stayed up a bit too late to finish this project!

I did a heart shaped shaker box!  I really wish I hadn't eaten all the chocolate kisses, cause this would have been perfect.  I started by cutting some heart (4) one white, and 3 craft cardstock.  I added tons of  Jute twine on the outside. I added some goodies that I had sitting on my desk, and of course this uber cute birdie from Craftin Desert Diva's called Little Birdie! I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color him in!

I hope you've like my project, I don't do they that often!

Until next time

Thank you Crafting Desert Divas

I was so happy that I won a prize package from Crafting Desert Divas so I wanted to make a card for Tara (CDD owner) to show her how much I loved my new goodies!

I started by making the frame for my shaker and then stamped the peanut then colored it in with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers using EB2 EB3 for the peanuts and True Black for the background.
Up next I cut out the heart using my Sizzix dies and My CDD fancy frames dies.

Then I went to work on my envies from little birdie set, which I'd cut using my Scan N Cut from Brother, that I used on another project and had left-overs. I colored them in PP2, PP6, and IG6.

The last thing to color was the elephant from Ton stamp set, it is so cute!!! I did it in IG1 - IG6 and PP2, PP6.

I finished off the card with a bit of thread and sprinkles from Doodlebug.

Close up shot!

Beary Christmas

Wow.. I've missed blogging and doing a card! School started, and I'm up to my eyeballs in work. I had my first major paper due. I'm waiting for the grade so to speak, and hopefully I did not mess it up to beary much! lol... Anyway onto today's card!

I started my card with the my old favorite from Simon Says Stamp (SSS) Circle Friends!

First I laid out the plan in my head, and went to work on fussy cutting 10 masks on Post It removable tape.  Once they were all done, I started by adding my first bear, which is colored in browns, using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers; brown bear EB2-EB4,  PP2 cheeks, EB1-2 for the bears in the background and IG2-3 for the shadowing behind the top layer.

I then went to work on the stamped sentiment, which comes in the set, as Bear Hugs, but I only inked up the Bear, and borrowed the Y from one of the other sentiments in the set.

Next was the Christmas in bright pink, so not an Eva color... but hey every now and again you gotta change things up!  The Die is called Happy Winter also from SSS.

I ran the top layers through my big shot, with the stitched rectangle dies, and added some dimension with some foam squares. and Finished up with my white Signo gel pen.

I added a layer of silver on top of the card base, which is SSS 120lbs.

Well that's about it for today,

Until next time

PCCCS170

Well... looky here, I'm over at  Paper Craft Crew along with the
rest of the design team, and have we got a sketch for you!

My card today, has to main area's the layered and sentiment areas.

When I started putting my card together, I put some post its in a rectangular shape, to build my background. I used my reInkers from Stampin' Up! in Soft Sky and a sponge dauber. After I let it dry a bit, I used some Stazon white ink reInker to do as my splatter, which I repeated on my cardbase too! Up next was selecting my sentiment... Which I love the new Special Delivery from Taylored Expressions, and did that in Black Stazon. Up next was the layered area, two banners in Blue and Gray, and a Sparkly ornament  with some Twine and a Penguin die from  Echo Park. The finishing touch was added some enamel dots.

Note: for the penguin die, instead of using three different pieces of colored cardstock, I used white and colored it in with my Spectrum Noir markers.

Until next time,
Eva

The dog house

Yesterday was a really cool day!!!!
I won this digi at Craftin Desert Divas
and one other, which I will work on another day!

Here's what I used, of course the awesome Puppy and dog house digi
I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
here's what I used
Puppy - Body: BG1 - BG4,  Eyes BT2-BT3,  Mouth PP2
Dog House - EB1-EB8 and IG8
Grass - CG1 - CG4
Bowl IG3 - IG5 and Bone EB1, TN3

My cardstock is 120lb white and the Friends die are both from Simon Say Stamp.

The blue in the color and Kraft cardstock are from Stampin' Up!

I cut the sentiment - friends four times, then layered them together with Tombow mono. The Puppy and dog house are attach with foam tape, and the circle was created by using a template made from a piece of scratch paper.  I kept the colors for the Puppy and his bowl, bone and grass, lighter than the dog house, so each component of the design would stand apart, while still giving a wonderful finished design.

Until next time,
Eva

Got Coffee

Last couple of days I've really been out of it... not feeling well, but today seems a lot better, first I got my order from Craftin Desert Divas and next I made a card with the awesome stamp set Got Coffee

:)
Today's layout totally CAS and I love that!

I started by taking out my stamps and selecting the coffee cup and sentiment.
I also picked a couple of others to go with my design idea.

First I stamped the coffee stain, in Tim Holtz distress ink antique linen. Up next was the sentiment, which is sweet! I used Stampin' Up! Early Espresso which is a rich deep brown.
Then it was time to have some fun with coloring. I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers LG1 - LG5 for the outside of the cup, and rim, and TN2 for the coffee (with lots of cream) color. and Finally I filled the tiny heart in with LV2 which compliments the Craftin Desert Divas cactus colors nicely. The finishing touch was to add the heart shaped steam, again I went for the antique linen.
My cardbase is Simon Says Stamp 120lb cardstock.

Also wanted to say thanks to Tara at CDD for making these wonderful stamps!

I hope you've enjoyed my card today

Until next time

CYCI#92

Bowling yesterday was a blast! Both William and Noelle (my grand daughter) got strikes and did way better than their averages!!! Kaylee hung in there and knocked down lots of pins! Meanwhile Keira and I were sitting in the high tops and coloring some images. I had a blast!

Well its Sunday and Can You Case It? has CAS Sketch for us this week!

I used my Newton's Nook Frozen Friends stamp set today.

I kept my card CAS.
I've got one part Newton's Nook and Two part Lawn Fawn.

The Holly Berry Twist Striped paper and Hugs stamp are both from Lawn Fawn, aren't they adorable!
For my snow couple, I've done them in shades of blues and pinks with simple additions like the carrot noses and blue scarfs.  I did a dash line/stitch with my Journal Pen from Project Life.  Lastly is a simple twine bow in white.  All of the white cardstock is Simon Says 120lb, which is awesome as card bases and layering too!

Stop on over at canyoucaseit.com and join in on the fun this week!

Until next time...

PPA267 Fall in watercolor

Today's card is for the Paper Players
with their Clean and Simple Leaves challenge!

Its been a while since I've done one of the challenges at the Paper Players... so when my friend Andrea said they had CAS and Leaves challenge I had to give it a try!

I did two little leaves using the Lawn Cuts Stitched Leaves on Spectrum Noir watercolor paper.

I used my cease pad, so that my leaves didn't cut all the way through, so I could pop up the outter edges with a mini foam tape square. I used some of my favorite fall colors, Gold Wink of Stella, Stampin' Up! reInker's Daffodil Delight, Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze on the leaves, and splattered it on the background. Then came the sentiment, which is from Simon Says Stamp Hand Lettered Winter Wishes, which has my favorite stamp "Thanks" which was done in Tim Holtz distress ink tea dye and then outlined in gold WOS.
I mounted the watercolor layer onto some craft cardstock and
added 5 droplets from Pretty Pink Posh  to finish it off.

Until next time
