MFT 10 Years

Susan shared the MFT challenge for their tenth year in the industry!
How cool is that!

I did a really cool, and fun card great for any kid, boy or girl and I love that!

Starting with cardstock, I used Orange Fizz, Blu Raspberry, Razzle Berry, Grape Jelly, and Sour Apple! With some of the many MFT Dies I have; Big Numbers, Sunny skies, Celebrate! Along with their fabulous Plaid Pattern paper 6x6!

I have to make this quick, but didn't want to miss out on celebrating along with them!
Congrats Susan and everyone at MFT Stamps

Plus some bright matte sprinkles from doodlebug!

Until next time!

OSAT BLOG HOP - Love is in the air

Welcome back to OSAT for February

Our theme this month is "Love is in the Air" and it was so much fun to put my items together!
Wow... I totally loved Lori's post... wasn't it just fantastic!!!

On to the hop...

I recently got my order from MFT and had to include them in the items I selected for this months post! I know that many of you have seen all the wonderful items out there, and yes it gets so hard to chose from the massive selections... but when I saw the MFT plaid paper stack, I knew I had to have it!

I had the chance to order from HSN!!! When they offered the new Crafters Companion Diamond Press and some of the uber cute dies and embossing folders.  I used one of the tag dies, and their heart embossing mini folders! I can't get over how flippin' cute the thing is!
Like I mentioned before I also have lots of new goodies from MFT like the plaid patterns paper and the label maker love stamp set! Along with their card sampler, which a great way to get the cardstock without a huge investment and we all know that a great deal saving is! I used 120# Ultra Thick Cardstock from Simon Says Stamp for my base and a purple heart on Doodlebug cardstock (another sampler pack). For my embellishments, I used some basic black thread, a stapler, my little b corrugated paper and Springtime Flower Power sequin mix from Craftin Desert Divas!

My card is awesome! Lots of great pieces to pull it together!

For my project, I made a super cute fortune cookie!

Pam is up next... wait til you see what she has for you... amazing!!!

mojo missing

If you find my mojo please tell it to come home...

I've been super busy getting the homeschooling part of our lives into a workable schedule and by the time Butter is finished with school, I'm worn out! That also leaves me with the current problem... for days in a row, I get nothing crafty done and when I do, it gets added to the unfinished pile, or in the trash.
Today I'm sharing one of my unfinished projects, that could someday become something else, for now its partially there, lol!

I used the new My Favorite Things stamp set "Santa's Elves" I tried some masking and was happy with it until I started coloring it in with my alcohol markers.....  Ah well... cookies crumble!
So I guess today's post is all about the what ifs?  What happens on the missing mojo days?
For me I try to organize the products and projects I'm currently working on, into files, boxes or throw lost causes away.  I take that crafty time to be more active and here is my breakdown in a nutshell
1. Catch up on Friends blogs... comment and get new ideas
2. Go back to the social media and see what I've been missing:Places like Pinterest and Instagram
3. Call and send cards to folks I've been out of touch with
4. Relax... Comfy blanky here I come :)
5. Go for a drive... sometimes getting out of the house can clear the mind and help regain the focus you've been missing from the day to day scrabble.

Until my next time

PCCCS166 A sketch Challenge

Butter started the new school yesterday, and while we are having to start at the beginning on many of the subjects, we are very happy that ORVA could enroll him so quickly! :) More updates on that later this week!

I've got just a few more weeks until my classes start for this fall.. and I'm getting really excited about returning to continue my education as well...  I've been working closely with advisors and others in the financial aid department to nail all the details so I can order my books and whatnot on time!

Anyway... on to today's post

Paper Craft Crew is up today.... I just love being a part of the design team!

Back and today I've got some of latest products from MFT and Lawn Fawn too

I started by coloring in my adorable elf, who is part of the My Favorite Things stamp set aptly named  Santa's Elves! This set comes with three adorable elves, three sentiments and eight additional stamps that will make you smile every time you use them! They are that freakin' cute!!!

The paper pad in the background comes from Lawn Fawn, "let's bokeh in the snow" in a 6 x 6.

I've got some sprinkles from Doodlebug in white, charcoal twine from AC and clear Sequins and Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh! I used my circle stitched dies from Simon Says Stamp too!

Of course I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color in my little elf, who just had to have read hair like Butter's!  The cardstock accents are Doodlebug and Stampin' Up!

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Until next time!
