My take on RG Studio 360 - Foxy Fall

For my card and project today, I've used lots of copics for my coloring. For the bear I used, E00, E11, E34, E74. next up is the feathers B01, BG18, BG23, BG32, BG34.  For the fox, I used N9, E09 and for other highlights, I used RV52 and BV000.

For a bit of texture, I ran some twine on top of my cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. My star got a little extra touch with a bit of color from Altenew and a large wax brush.
Some additional touches here and there, like printed paper, washi, and twine!

For the treat box, I did a simple 6x6 piece of gray cardstock (sample in white) and scored at every 2 inches once, then turned my cardstock and repeated the scoring. Once I had those done, I scored from corner to corner twice.  Here are some images to help you make one.

I used the small sitting Fox on my box along with the Give Thanks sentiment.
With matching printed paper, and washi from my card these two would make the perfect gift set.
I just love how cute they turned out.

It's been a fantastic blast to hop again, with Richard Garay, the Studio Designers and

Hello - Easy Ink Blending

Hello

Hi, I'm back today with a fabulous card. I learned how to use easy techniques to get the blending just the way you want it.  Amy Lee has an amazing way with color, I love each of the lessons. My favorite was how to blend by adding a layer at a time, here's my project for this class.

Getting this class is super easy, register at Altenew Academy!

I started by grabbing some Strathmore hot press watercolor paper and cut it down to A2 size which is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4. On Altenew 110# cardstock I used Shades of Purple ink cubes for the blending on my background and on my stamped layer as well I selected Frosted Garden because it's one of my favs. For my main layer, I also used Rock Collection and Green Fields and Frayed Leaf too! My hello die is from the Flower Arrangement set and I added a touch of vellum with the Handmade Tags dies.  To complete my card I added the scallop die cut from Lawn Fawn, Some clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh and some of the enamel dots from Altenew. The green twine is from American Crafts.

On a personal note, I made it through my 3rd day of no Facebook or Instagram, woohoo!
I didn't include blogging because I knew I would need a way to upload my work for my Altenew Educator requirements!

Until next time

Hero Arts Spring Hello THDC#01

Okay so I found a new challenge... just starting! So I thought I'd put a little something together!

I used my Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor on wc paper. I started by selecting my Spring Hello stamp set from Hero Arts.  The colors from the challenge are so pretty, here take a look!
I used my gift card envelope die from May's HA kit.  I finsihed it off with 4mm dropplets from Pretty Pink Posh!

I also did a simple flower on the closure side of the mini envy!
AC has some wonferful twine, so I added a bit of that in blue!

Like I said.. super simple!

Until next time!

CYCI#120

Wow.. its Sunday already, we had a wonderful weekend, our friends Kyle and Angela came for a visit, from the Tacoma area. Angela and I talked shop (craftiness) and what we've got on our wish lists from the latest products!  Then both families went for dinner, had a blast, and then sadly it was time for them to return home...   I can't wait til we can get up their way, I hope its very soon! We defiantly owe them a visit!

Just thought you should know from the get-go that, I love the card I did for this week!
We've got a sketch challenge this week, I got it right it, this time, Crystal!
Too funny, last week I wrote the wrong thing, and my FB crafty friend called me on it!!!

Okay.. moving on...
I've been on a CAS tend or CAS trendy... streak lately!

I used some of the newbies I got in the mail during the past week!

I am loving my Amy Tangerine doughnut rub-on pen!
I totally went rogue and did four of them (sorry Justin, master of all things crafty!)

The star of my card is the incredible Fabulous sticker
from Heidi Swapp along with the sprinkle it with sentiment sticker!

I added some Dear Lizzy enamel dots for a bit of color!

Here's everything I used, except the stapler!

Until next time

Paper Craft Crew #182

This class has been extremely hard this term, and I've been working my tushie off, just trying to keep up with the assignments. Psychology is making me crazy! lol... As with anything that is difficult, I'll just keep working at it, until I understand it... or die, and since I'm not dead... I guess I will survive!
Andrea and I chatted on Monday, and she mentioned that I hadn't been on Facebook for over 13 hours... lol...  I was stuck in la la land... working on my class stuff and other things on the side! I couldn't believe I hadn't been on for that long! Wow... that's a lifetime in FB time!

On to today's challenge

Paper Craft Crew has a sweet challenge for us this week!  I was chatting with Justin (fellow PCC DT member) while I was making this and we had a blast!!!  I love to crafty chat when I get the chance!
My card today features some fun new stuff (to me)
and some incredible staples you should have in your crafty stash!

I started today's card with the sketch in hand, and lots of ideas!
The first thing I thought of was the cute Sunny Skies Die and kraft cardstock base from MFTStamps and did it in a beautiful blue called Dolphin from Doodlebug!  Next I grabbed a piece of glitter paper and the thank you tag from Jen Hadfield.  I had leftover enamel dots from Echo Parks "Hello Winter" collection.
I used my favorite die - Fancy Frames from Craftin Desert Divas for my background layer and splattered a bit of Heidi Swapp Gold color shine on it!  You can see a tiny star poking out in blue (it's been sitting on my desk for a long time... not sure what cardstock it's from tehe!
For the last thing I used was something new to me... a bit of American Crafts Happy Place rub on pen!  I love the lines and color!  Last is my thread, which is coated, and I love to curl the ends!

Well that's it for today, until next time

Noel

Good morning everyone.... today I'm back with a cute no stamping needed card.

I know what you are thinking, but Eva I love stamping,  duh and me too.
But there are times when we need something but don't have the right stamp.  Today I've focusing on my Scan n Cut which to be perfectly honest has been sitting on the shelf for a while now.
Sad I know!

A recent surge in users has given me the push I needed to say I'm going to use it, and if I make mistakes, so be it!  Well it works awesome, it however lacks the wham that other electronic cutters have to offer, and I am hopeful that Brother will create new designs.

Okay on to today's card. I started cutting the Noel on my Scan n Cut, it's just one of the many built in selections you can do. Next I pulled out a piece of the Lawn Fawn petite paper pack Lets Bokeh in the snow. Next came the ARC crafts wood veneer which comes on a pretty good sized roll.
To give the card a nice bit of support, I added a layer of craft foam under the top layer.
in the end I decided to add some of my Little Things by Lucy's cards Sequins and some AC light blue twine. well that's about it.  Oh, wait the card is a normal A2 size (4 1/4 by 5 1/2), with the top layer being a 1/4 smaller at 4" by 5 1/4".

Until next time

With a couple of stitch leaves from Lawn Fawn and droplets from Pretty Pink Posh. I finished off my card with some thread from AC.

PCCCS166 A sketch Challenge

Butter started the new school yesterday, and while we are having to start at the beginning on many of the subjects, we are very happy that ORVA could enroll him so quickly! :) More updates on that later this week!

I've got just a few more weeks until my classes start for this fall.. and I'm getting really excited about returning to continue my education as well...  I've been working closely with advisors and others in the financial aid department to nail all the details so I can order my books and whatnot on time!

Anyway... on to today's post

Paper Craft Crew is up today.... I just love being a part of the design team!

Back and today I've got some of latest products from MFT and Lawn Fawn too

I started by coloring in my adorable elf, who is part of the My Favorite Things stamp set aptly named  Santa's Elves! This set comes with three adorable elves, three sentiments and eight additional stamps that will make you smile every time you use them! They are that freakin' cute!!!

The paper pad in the background comes from Lawn Fawn, "let's bokeh in the snow" in a 6 x 6.

I've got some sprinkles from Doodlebug in white, charcoal twine from AC and clear Sequins and Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh! I used my circle stitched dies from Simon Says Stamp too!

Of course I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color in my little elf, who just had to have read hair like Butter's!  The cardstock accents are Doodlebug and Stampin' Up!

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Until next time!

Watercolor Wish

This week Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes...
with Clearly Besotted products.

I got started with my card by taking out a piece of watercolor paper and adding some light blue ink to it... and while my image doesn't show the blue very well.... its incredible!

For my Clearly Besotted product I used their stamp set Believe

I used lots of Wink of Stella in Clear (splattered) Black (splattered) and I used Gold on the little circles on the stamp, and again by hand to fill in the spots missed!

I matted my card with a layer of gray and black, along with a white cardbase in Simon's 120lbs cardstock.
I added a simple quad knot to the stem to finish it off...

Have a great day

Until next time
Eva

Happy Mail indeed

Butter grabbed the mail today and lucky me... my little order from Unity Stamp Co. was in there... such a lovely surprise to get some new stamps... I'm sure I'll be posting lots of cute stuff early next week!

Every time you order from Unity... you get a little bad of free goodies!!!
This time I received some pink crepe streamer and thought what am I going to do with that?

When I looked at my party monster stamp set, I knew what I was going to do...  Everyone has a little green eye'd monster in them... and with the pink crepe.. It was going to be a "she"!!!  So I took out my Spectrum Noir markers in LG 2, 3, 4 for the body and BP 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 for the present w/bow, hat, her toes and DG 2, 3 for the grassy area... I finished it off by using BGR 1,2,3 for the background/sky areas.  I folded the crepe in quarters and snipped it to create a fringe.. added a few candy dots from Stampin' Up!. Next came my Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle dies I used the larges and 3rd larges for the layers!  Lastly I added the sentiment, some white twine from AC and then used adhesive foam to attach it to my base!

I really hope you like her... I think she is ready to give to any party girl, regardless of age!
This is a card worth giving!

Until next time,
Eva

CYCI#77

Hope everyone had a lovely 4th of July!!!

I decided to turn the sketch, and it looks awesome!
I busted out my favorite new stamp set for this one... You've got this by Stampin' Up!
I went simple just Memento Black ink, with a touch of Mossy Meadow in the stems. I also used Mossy Meadow for my cardbase, along with some kraft cardstock. I added in some thick twine that I have from a kit...  and yup thats it! I hope you like it

Late last night I did a second card, cause I loved the sketch so much!

So this card is using some of my recent purchases from Pretty Pink Posh using the 10mm Metallic Silver Sequins, Simple Stories Enchanted paper pad, AC twine & Stampin' Up! Whisper White Baker's twine, along with some Sequins from Doodlebug in Limeade. I used a 1 3/4 circle punch in white, with Pear Pizzazz ink, and sentiment from Unity Stamp Co, Smile in your heart stamp set.
My cardstock is Stampin' Up! in Whisper White Thick, and Pink Pirouette.

Thats all.. for today!!

So Jelly... tehe!!! I love this stamp and die set by Lawn Fawn
So yeah I made a fish tank... with tons of seed beads from Simon Says Stamp
Doodlebug sequins and the wood grain kraft paper too

My twine is from AC... in coral :)
Cardstock is from Stampin' Up!
I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Of course there's ink in there too...
Pool Party, Island Indigo from SU and Memento Black

Now the back of the tank is done with sponging pool party and island indigo on white cardstock, then I used Ranger Texture on the Garden Bare Branches from Memory Box to give the tank a bit of sea look... the branches are really cool up close!

PCCCS149 A Sketch Challenge

Welcome back.. today I'm over at Paper Craft Crew

So what do you think? Stampin' Up! has some awesome new products and I'm so happy to share my card with you today! I started with the Garden in Bloom stamp set along with the new 100lbs whisper white cardstock and some daffodil delight, and basic black. I added to accents to my card, the Black ribbon is retired and it was the last little bit I had, but prefect for the card! The second is a Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers that I added some white thin thread that I coiled to give it a bit of ta-da!
My card has a splatter of wink of stella over it.  I used both Memento Black and Daffodil Delight inks.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today... and don't forget to click on the PCCCS sketch to check out the challenge this week.

Change is never easy

Hey its Monday... and a Holiday to remember those who aren't with us any more...
Last friday my Uncle Alex passed away, he lived a wonderful life, yes it came with ups and downs...
But he was a good man, and I will always remember him.

My card today is for the family he left behind
and to the family in heaven that we miss everyday.

We are imperfect, we have faults and make mistakes...
We aren't very good at saying we're sorry
and maybe it's because life has not been easy for us.

Love is the first thing you see on the card... its also the first thing we receive,
and the hopefully its the last thing we have before we die.

Inside the card is Unity Stamp Co sentiment
It reads

Change
Is never easy.
You fight to
hold on and
you fight to let go.

So today I am grateful that I have Aunts and Uncles who loved me...
I am grateful that with God's grace I will live to see change, and fight and when it's time let go.

Today I'd also like to take a moment to thank
the people around the world for making it safer.
God Bless You

Thanks for stoppin by on this Memorial Day 2015
